Blue Nebula (kitbash)   back  next

Built by:  Mike Sharpless in Philadelphia, PA

I scratch-built the body using the quarter panels and trunk lid from the Chrysler 300 kit, some sheet plastic, and lots of Bondo.

The grill came from the Ala-Kart, and the 421 Pontiac engine is from a Revell parts pack, while the dash is from the '37 Chevy gasser kit.

Seats, steering wheel, wheels, tires, and side pipes are from my parts boxes. The front axle came from one of the Roth kits -- I'm not sure which one.

The frame was scratch-built from strips of Plastruct, while the body was airbrushed with Auto Air Pearl White, featuring candy blue fades, and then cleared with Testors Wet Look.

Thanks for lookin'!
