BootHill Express    back  next

Built by: Mike Sharpless in Philadelphia, PA

This is the second time that I have done wood grain on a model. The first time was with the Popcorn Wagon.

The model was built pretty much out of the box; the only added details are the slicks, the seat rail that I made from a paper clip, and the differential cover. The wood grain was brushed, painted, and dry-brushed with three different browns, black washed, and cleared with Testors Dullcote.

I had a lot of fun building this kit, and I also have two more in the stash for future builds.
