'27 'T' Fire Truck back next
Built by: Mike Sharpless in Philadelphia, PA
Picked this one up off eBay a few months back. It was in pretty sad shape when I got it. The body had a few glue marks that needed to be filled and sanded. All the chrome parts were stripped and airbrushed with Fusion Firm liquid chrome. After the body was primed and sanded smooth, it was then airbrushed with decanted Tamiya metallic red, then clear-coated with Testors wet look.
Most of the original kit parts were there except for the rims and tires, so the ones I decided to use came from the Revell 29 roadster kit. It's an awesome kit to build!! I had a lot of fun restoring it.
Thanks for lookin"!
