Sweetee back next

The Tom Daniel Sweetee came out in 1970 and has never been reissued. That makes it a valuable kit and made me a bit nervous making it. I was faithful to TD's artwork for the body color with Tamiya Yellow Pearl and went with Chevy Orange for the 327 engine for a nice contrast with the body.
There are three different configurations for this kit (Oval Tank, Turtle Deck, Pickup--see image below). I chose the traditional pickup. I also added the braces for the top, even though that's not part of TD's original artwork.
If I were to do it again, I'd lean the windshield back a bit and push the axle back somewhat for better fitments. That aside, I like how it came out, and I'm starting to display my TD kits at home with the collector cards instead of keeping them in a folder.
