Orange Hauler back next

Straightforward build here of the Darryl Starbird's Orange Hauler. A bit more challenging than I anticipated to get the tire inserts to come together and the chassis warping a bit on me after painting, which required some focused adaptation to sit level.

Tamiya Orange Metallic looks great on this showrod. The model came out in 1966 by Monogram with great mid-century modern artwork.

And I would be remiss if I did not point out here that it began life as a real 1:1 showrod as the Ultra Truck. A must-watch video is here!
