Just completed this one, it's the Tom Daniel "Wood Shed," inspired by the original artwork by Tom. The artwork was sent to me by my good friend Craig Stansfield several years ago.
Starting with a Monogram '30 Ford Woody, I started making the required changes as noted by Tom on his artwork.
First was swapping the wheels and tires for those from a Tijuana Taxi, and then lowering the front and rear suspension. To give it an even more aggressive look, I lowered the front of the body at the windshield/cowl approximately 1/16th inch over the floorboard.
Out front, the grille/radiator was lowered almost 1/8th inch to give the hood the required rake. The engine has a fabricated fuel injection and 3D printed headers, and I modified a NASCAR exhaust to fit. A set of traction bars from my parts box was also modified to fit. To finish it off, I fabricated the wood front bumper to match Tom's drawing. That rear panel with the Iron Cross windows was cut by hand, and it is hinged to open.
